１日１題　英語スピーチ講座 Katakana words

There are so many katakana words around us nowadays. I don’t understand some of them even if I am studying English. Of course, those who are in most trouble are the old people. I have always thought that the main culprit is journalists. But it seems this is wrong. They are instructed not to use katakana words as much as possible. One of the journalists says that the culprit is bureaucrats of the government. Then politicians begin to use katakana words and would-be educated persons follow. I think that we should use the words everyone can understand.
