Shodai won on the first day of the sumo tournament yesterday. He is from the same prefecture Kumamoto as mine, so I always cheer him up. He often lost on the first part of the tournament and we his fans felt irritated. Actually he was on the verge of losing his position Ozeki, second highest after Yokozuna. But he recovered on the last part and even defeated Yokozuna Terunofuji in the last tournament. We hope that he will win the championship again in this tournament.
